Textron Inc



Textron Inc. is a multi-industry company that leverages its worldwide network of businesses to provide customers with solutions and services in four business units: Bell, Cessna, Industrial and Finance. The Bell unit is composed of Bell Helicopter and Textron Systems. Cessna Aircraft Company is a manufacturer of general aviation airplanes. The Industrial unit is comprised of its E-Z-GO, Jacobsen, Kautex, Greenlee and Fluid and Power businesses. The Finance unit consists of Textron Financial Corporation. In December 2005, Textron committed to a plan to sell its Fastening Systems business. During the year ended 2005, Textron sold its interest in the Model AB139 helicopter program to Agusta Aerospace Company LLC. Textron also purchased United States Helicopter, bought out Kautex's Japanese joint venture partner and set up a joint venture with a German company called Rothenberger AG.
