Continental Airlines, Inc.



Continental Airlines is a United States air carrier engaged in the business of transporting passengers, cargo and mail. Continental operates more than 2,500 daily departures throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia, together with ExpressJet Airlines, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, Continental Micronesia, Inc. (CMI). ExpressJet is a wholly owned subsidiary of ExpressJet Holdings, Inc., from which Continental Airlines purchases seat capacity. As of December 31, 2004, the company flew to 130 United States and 113 international destinations and offered additional connecting service through alliances with various carriers. Continental directly served 18 European cities, seven South American cities, Tel Aviv, Hong Kong and Tokyo as of December 31, 2004. Through its Guam hub, CMI provides service in the western Pacific, including service to cities in Japan.
